But I then made the connection of Daemon getting Mysaria's intel as a result of her fleeing King's Landing after Larys had her house burned -- and I was slower to see the more obvious fault in the paucity of castle staff and the other hints you point out. Well, Larys did find Blood with pretty remarkable ease.

Larys is Little finger. Every character is the same person just under different circumstances. Tywin Lannister and Otto High tower are damned near identical 😂they even had the same job and lost the same job 😂😂Cersei felt like her dad used her as a "brood mare", Alicents dad pimped her out and made her an "heir" factory. Rhaenyra was supposed to be on the throne and it was taken away simply because she's a woman Daenerys felt exactly the same way🤷🏿. Daemon is Jamie Lannister, Rhaenys is Catlin, Aegons turning into Joffrey. 😂

I have found lots of these videos from other channels have spoilers(mostly minor but some major) here and there so hearing that thing about "the rat thing from the books" and how he fully avoided it, this seems like the best channel to ensure no spoilers. I do have a query. Let’s say a Targaryen kills the dragon rider for Balerion and he’s chilling in the dragon pit. Could they go down and bind with the dragon straight away? Would they have to wait? Since they killed the rider would they never be able to bond with the dragon? Also are book rules about dragon bonding applying in the show?

I truly have no idea what Larys' motivations were, book or show - aside from creating power vacuums, like you said. He doesn't seem to value friendship or allyship at all, which is alien enough to make him frighteningly confusing.

Am I the only one that's expecting to see a lot more magic this show? This show takes place during the dance of dragons which is when magic was at its absolute peak in the game of thrones universe. I expect to see warging. I expect to see glass candles burning, I expect to see more magic than I've seen in game of thrones. Considering the whole point of game of thrones was that magic was reawakening while during dance of dragons, It's at its peak

We don't know who Daemon Veleryon Sr's wife was, but this timeframe is smack bang in the middle of the peak Veleryon + Targaryen marriages, so it's quite possible that Corly's great-great-grandmother was a Targaryen. It's also generally understood that Daemon Veleryon Sr's sister was Valaena Veleryon; if this is the case (which I'm sure it is), this means that Daemon Veleryon Sr's mother was a Targaryen. So it's very likely that Corlys' great-great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother were both Targaryens. Now, I quite agree that this small level of Targaryen blood is likely not strong enough to enable a dragon-bond, so in this case we have to turn to Addam and Alyn's mother, Marilda of Hull. Looking at the actors, it's strongly implied that their mother very likely has traditional Summer Isles features; we know that Corly's mother also has Summer Isles features, looking at his family free. Larys would not pay attention to Cheese, he wasn’t supposed to be on the levels where the royals lived.

One point against the idea that Larys cleared the way for Blood and Cheese is that Daemon expected or at least hoped for his plan to succeed. He wanted Aemond dead, and this was his scheme to bring that to pass. He wasn't relying on Larys removing guards or servants, but rather his own knowledge of the Red Keep. Nothing in the show suggests Daemon and Larys are in cohoots, Daemon wasn't planning for inside help for his assassin's, he genuinely thought they could pull it off.
